Our Risk Management Services focus on training and support to risk managers through engagement and training.  Risk Managers participate in monthly meetings, engage in quarterly in person training, and participate in a FSBIT Risk Manager Certification program focused on 12 areas of risk management.  FSBIT staff are highly engaged with the risk teams and remain available to them with a high degree of communication.  Our Risk Control team works collaboratively with Risk Managers on prevention, preparedness, and long-term cost control. We partner with member districts to identify exposures, evaluate loss trends, and implement practical strategies that reduce risk across operations. Through on-site support, consultation, and targeted recommendations, we help districts strengthen safety practices and improve compliance. FSBIT also has an in-house property support Risk Control Representative that validates the SOV’s through on site visits to review building and PITO assets.  They also use TPA appraisal software for cost validations, utilizes drones for property captures and heat mapping.

By aligning risk control with claims data and operational realities, we help members move from reactive response to proactive protection.
